Travel with paintings- Jingliao

    菁寮，位於後壁區的一個小鄉鎮，因為紀錄片電影─無米樂而走紅。典型的農村環境，一片接著一片的稻田，男主人不知道多久沒有親眼看過了！這也使得此片區域愈顯珍貴。來到菁寮，必定要造訪由普立茲獎得主Gottfried Böhm所建造的菁寮聖十字架天主堂，但是由於管理者採預約參觀制，所以請先查好資訊並且連絡後再前去；之後建議您慢慢步行於鄉間小道，近看翠綠或金黃稻田的美，並且吃點小東西，滿足身心靈後在往下一站出發。

    Jingliao- where the famous Taiwan documentary“ Let it be” production team find the view and tell people the story about four famers life of this place. Here is the traditional farm society. Young people leave to find a good job instead choosing to stay in their home town. That is a normal situation in south Taiwan. Leaving aside the sadness part, Jingliao is a beautiful place. You can go to the Holly cross church builded by Gottfried Böhm who was affirmed by Pritzker Architecture Prize in 1986. You can also just spend your time to visit around this small village.

交通方式：

開車：從遊旅B&B出發，行駛國道一號往北，至新營交流道往新營方向，轉縣道172號後，依照路標行駛。

坐車：從遊旅B&B出發，搭乘市區公車6號，至台南火車站下車，換搭火車往北至後壁火車站下車，步行或至後壁區公所搭車前往菁寮皆可。

Transportation:

You can take city bus #6 from You-Lyu B&B and getting off at Tainan Train station. Then take train toward north to Houbi train station. Then You can take taxi to Jingliao.
