Travel with paintings- Anping District

    安平─台南旅遊觀光的老景點，似乎是一個不用再提的地方。其實，安平確確實實地是台灣最古老的城市，也是台灣歷史的發源地，值得深入地遊玩。此行寫生前，男主人幾經思索，實在難以決定地點…於是乎，繞著安平全區走了一圈找感覺，終於在德記洋行找到了和諧的景色，同時也發現…每次到安平，美麗都藏在不同的角落。建議您，第一次到安平的話，先逛商圈，感受那股熱鬧與愉悅，多買點東西吃吃喝喝；如果是第二次造訪，或者您有很多時間，那就來個古蹟遊覽，慢走漫遊；如果已經是第n次遊安平的遊客，建議您租台腳踏車，順著自行車道往海邊，遠離人群，享受寧靜。

     Anping District is a district of Tainan City. In March 2012, it was named one of the Top 10 Small Tourist Towns by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan. The history of Anping dates back to the 17th century, when the Dutch East India Company occupiedTayuan/Tayoan/Tayouan/Tayowan (transliterated into Chinese characters as 大灣/台員/大員/台圓/大圓/台窩灣), meaning "foreigner" in Sirayan. In the period of the Japanese occupation, the history of trade between China and Japan unfolded at Anping.

Anping was originally a small island separated from the mainland of Tainan until the 19th century. Due to the ocean current, the small lagoon between Anping island and Tainan was silted up and gradually disappeared, and Anping became a part of Tainan.

開車：從遊旅B&B出發，沿中華東路往西，接中華南路續行，右轉中華西路，遇安平路左轉即抵達。

坐車：從遊旅B&B出發，搭乘市區公車6號，至台南火車站下車，換搭市區公車2號於安平站下車即抵達。

Transportation:

You can take city bus #6 from You-Lyu B&B and getting off at Tainan Train station. Then take city bus #2 towards Anping district. You can get off at An-ping station. It will be convenient for tour.
